1969 Chevy Blazer - SOLD
This Blazer has been sold, but we thought we'd keep the photos up since it's such a cool truck!
1969 Chevy K5 Blazer 4WD. 69-72 Chevy Blazer is a desirable body style, and 1969 was the first year of production. Only 4935 units were produced; lowest production year.
This truck is all original, including the paint, never been repainted. Has all original factory panels and top. Has less than 45,000 miles on it; have documents and receipts to prove mileage to be actual. Has not been driven on the road in last 20 years.
Truck runs great. Has a small block V-8 engine; can’t verify if it’s original or not, looks correct for the model and appears to be a 307, which was an optional engine for that year over the 6 cylinder. Engine has an Edelbrock intake, Summit 4 barrel carb and a GM HEI distributer. Has 350 TH transmission, 4 wheel drive with lock out hubs, power steering, power brakes. Has new tires, brakes, and battery. Tires are 33 x 12.50 on 15 x 10 aluminum wheels.
Has new rocker panels, new lower front quarter panels, and new front inner wheel wells. There is no body filler in the body; still has original paint. You can see what you’re buying, no surprises. Original color is red with removable white top.
There is some rust appearing over the rear wheel wells and lower door corners. The rest of the truck is solid.
The seats need recovering but frames and foam are in good shape. There is a back seat too (not appearing is photos). All glass is good. There are some minor dents, scratches, and dings that one would expect on an original, unrestored vehicle of this age. Gas gage does not appear to be working, and the weather stripping needs replaced around the doors.
Truck starts right up, engine runs great, transmission shifts good, brakes work good, and truck drives good considering the over-size tires and straight axle front end. Speedometer seems to be off due to the oversize tires. Nice project truck.
